Hilfiger’s career in fashion began when he was a high school student in 1969 — opening his first store, People’s Place, in his hometown of Elmira, New York. A decade later, he moved to Manhattan to pursue a career in fashion design, before launching his namesake brand with a single menswear collection. Since then, global retail sales of TOMMY HILFIGER products have grown to reach approximately $9.3 billion in 2021, powered by more than 16,000 associates worldwide — present in 100 countries and more than 2,000 retail stores, including its largest global flagship store at tommy.com.

The legacy of the Silver Arrows dates back to 1934 and a debut victory for the Mercedes-Benz W 25. After their triumphant debut, the name “Silver Arrows” was coined for Mercedes racing cars and gradually caught on over the years. The legend of the Silver Arrows would continue into the Formula One era in equally successful style, when the three pointed star first entered the World Championship in 1954.
The team has set a new benchmark for F1 success during the sport’s current Hybrid era, winning consecutive Drivers’ and Constructor’s World Championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and the Constructors’ Championship in 2021. During those title-winning seasons, the team has scored 111 wins, 232 podium finishes, 118 pole positions, 81 fastest laps and 53 one-two finishes from 160 race starts.
AWAKE NY
Launched in New York City in 2012, Awake NY is the brainchild of Queens native Angelo Baque. A reflection of the diversity that continues to define the city’s landscape, Awake NY draws on a plethora of Baque’s influences to capture the spirit and sensibility of the five boroughs. Awake NY’s seasonal collections are informed by the eclecticness of downtown New York City in the early ‘90s, updated with refined silhouettes and domestically made everyday basics to round out the wearer’s wardrobe.
As the brand grows globally, community remains a core pillar. Awake NY continues to work with organizations both local and nationwide, providing support to underserved communities whenever possible. Organizational partners to date include: Building Black Bed-Stuy, Children of Promise, NICE, Sky High Farm, Scope of Work (SOW), and more. The brand works directly with each organization to identify areas of need within each respective partner’s network.
